We offer great fire safety training courses that can be delivered to your staff, at your premises.
What are your duties?
Current legislation requires all staff to receive basic training in fire safety awareness. The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 requires that a “Responsible Person” must provide their staff with: “adequate fire safety training” that must be “suitable, sufficient and appropriate” and be “repeated periodically”. This training must include the practical use of fire extinguishers, appropriate to the workplace risks and delivered by a competent and suitably qualified instructor.
Why is Fire Safety training important?
Fire can devastate a business. A series of simple steps can go a long way to protecting the premises, the employees, and the long-term future of the business. Businesses are increasingly being visited by Fire Officers, who want to see your Fire Safety Risk Assessments; they will also want to know who your ‘responsible person’ is. Failure to provide these risk assessments, as well as to nominate a ‘responsible person’ could lead to your business being served an improvement notice.
Why choose LRB?
We have expert consultants and trainers to assist you with your fire safety needs. Current fire legislation requires that all staff receive basic training in fire safety awareness. Of course, each business’s needs and fire policies are different. Therefore, our fire safety training courses are tailored to your particular needs and circumstances so that you can get the full benefit of the training.
