LRB About LRB Why LRB

CHAS, Safecontractor, EXOR or Other - Need Help?

Many people get knocked back on their Safecontractor accreditation, or their CHAS accreditation, or their EXOR accreditation ... and so on. Why? Sometimes it’s as simple as: because! Then we need to change the submission to meet what the assessor is looking for.

More often, it’s because the applicant has not included important information. Many people still miss the fact that you need to prove that you do the things that you say you do. The assessor will judge you on the information that you provide. You need to prove to them that you do the various things that you’ve said, such as:

  • Provide PPE (personal protective equipment) free of charge (Purchase information, PPE Issue records, etc)
  • Monitor your site safety performance (send details of your completed site audits, including follow up actions, etc)
  • Carry out Asbestos Awareness Training (send evidence of Training Records, referring to Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006, not the 2002 Regulations. It may seem like a small point to you, but if the accreditation is what you need ...)
  • And the list goes on

How can we Help?

  • We can create a bespoke, up to date and relevant Health and Safety Policy for you
  • We can carry out Health & Safety Training for you, including Asbestos Awareness Training
  • We can help you to understand what paperwork you need to complete and send as part of the accreditation
  • We can liaise with the assessor (assuming that they’ll talk to us) on your behalf
  • Assist you with the creation of meaningful and useful Risk Assessment documentation
  • Etc

Why Bother?

Competitive edge! If it’s difficult for you, it will be a barrier to your competition. It will allow you to work with some organisations that your competitors can’t get in with.
