Who should attend?
This is a course incorporating the basic fundamental aspects of health and safety and is aimed at all employees whose work could expose them to a possible significant risk.
The course is delivered in a relaxed but informative manner allowing delegates to participate in group discussions and syndicate exercises. The course is normally of 2 days duration but can be reduced to 1day depending on client's requirements, internal / external course, extent of detail and when the written assessment is conducted.

On successful completion of the course the delegates, should as a minimum, be able to:
- Understand the principles of accident causation / prevention
- Explain the importance of Human Factors in managing health and safety
- Investigate, report and analyse accidents and incidents
- Assist in the implementation of workplace precautions / controls
- Assist in the preparation of risk assessments
- Identify hazards and evaluate the risks accordingly
- Monitor their own activities and assist managers in active monitor
