The 1-Day Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course content includes:

  • The course helps you to

    • Understand the priorities of first aid
    • Treat an unconscious casualty
    • Administer resuscitation
    • Deal with choking
    • Respond to shock
    • Cope with bleeding
    • Manage seizures
    • Respond properly to common workplace injuries
    • Use a defibrillator
  • Questions and Answers on matters arising

On successful completion of this course, you will receive an Accredited Certificate that is valid for three years.

First Aid is not only a legal requirement for employers to provide for their workers, but it is also a great skill that employers can provide to their staff that can be applied in many different situations away from the workplace and which may even benefit the family of the worker.
