Fire Safety Awareness (half-day)

Fire safety training is a must for all organisations. This is not just to meet legal obligations, but to safeguard your people, your premises and your operations.  Our half-day fire safety awareness course offers practical, hands-on training that empowers staff to act confidently and effectively in the event of a fire.

No prior experience is needed. Participants will learn how to identify fire risks, understand evacuation procedures, and safely use fire extinguishers. This course helps employers meet fire safety legislation while fostering a culture of awareness and preparedness across the workplace.

Our fire safety awareness course covers:

  • Fire safety awareness
    • Hazard identification
    • Electricity
    • Causes of fire (including the Fire Triangle)
  • Fire safety and the law
  • Methods of fire prevention and controls
    • Evacuation planning/testing
  • Actions to be taken in the event of a fire
  • Practical session: Location and correct use of firefighting equipment (including a hands-on training session with extinguishers)
  • Emergency procedures

Our live fire extinguisher training takes place in a safe, controlled environment using water and CO₂ extinguishers, with other types available on request. Practical training builds confidence and competence, giving staff the skills to act quickly and potentially stop a fire before it escalates.
