Food Safety - Level 2 (1-day)

This one-day entry level food safety course has been designed to give a foundation level of knowledge for individuals working in the catering, food manufacturing and retail sectors. 

This Food Safety Level 2 course covers the following topics:

  • Legislation
  • Food safety and hygiene hazards
  • Temperature control
  • Refrigeration, chilling and cold holding
  • Cooking, hot holding and reheating
  • Food handling
  • Principles of safe food storage
  • Cleaning
  • Food premises and equipment

This course can be held at our offices in Loughborough, or at your premises. There is also the option to tailor the course to specific sectors, allowing you and your team to understand in the ways that matter most.

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate. Refresher training is recommended every three years.
