Fire Warden Training (half-day)

Fire warden training is a legal requirement for UK businesses and a vital part of maintaining a safe working environment. This half-day course equips designated fire wardens with the knowledge and practical skills needed to prevent fire risks, lead safe evacuations, and support overall fire safety procedures. 

Whether you’re a small office or a high-risk site, having trained fire wardens ensures your business meets its legal obligations and is prepared to respond effectively in an emergency. 

Our half-day fire warden training course covers:

• Fire safety awareness
  • Hazard identification
  • Electricity 
  • Causes of fire (including the Fire Triangle)
• Fire safety and the law
• Methods of fire prevention and controls
  • Evacuation planning/testing
• Actions to be taken in the event of a fire
• Practical session: Location and correct use of firefighting equipment (including a hands-on training session with extinguishers)
• Emergency procedures

On successful completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate. Refresher training is recommended every three years.
