Food Safety training, behind the scenes

Today we have announced a new Food Safety Level 2 open training course which we will run on Friday June 1st 2012. This course normally operates on a closed basis for clients who wish to train a number of employees, however on this occasion we have taken the decision to hold an open training course to gather some market interest, and see whether there is a demand for open Food Safety courses.

As usual, our Training Consultant (Peter Phillips) will be hosting the course. Peter has a wealth of experience and specialises in Food Safety, so he is the obvious choice to take the lead in this case, to top that off, he is also a fantastic trainer! Having sat in on a number of training courses with Peter I can certainly say that he is entertaining and very informative.

I have arranged for the course to be held at one of our usual training venues, The Chapter House, which is located in a delightful wooded setting on the main road from Loughborough to Coalville. We regularly use this venue for a number of reasons, but transport access is the prime reason, with easy access to the M1 allowing delegates from all over the midlands to easily reach our courses

In the office we will set up a number of tasks on specific days leading up to the training course so that we are prepared on the day, including making sure we have the correct type and number of exam papers, on this occasion as candidates will receive accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), we will have to order the papers two weeks in advance. But the most important task that we have is arranging food for the delegates. We have a good working relationship with a fantastic delicatessen in the town and the delicious lunches they provide are second to none!

If you have any Food Safety training requirements don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, or you could even book on this course, just send an email to
