Swine Flu

Swine influenza (swine flu) is a respiratory disease that is more normally found in pigs, but (as the news programmes indicate) human cases can and do occur.

The symptoms of swine influenza in people are similar to the normal flu symptoms and include:

  • fever
  • fatigue
  • lack of appetite
  • coughing and
  • sore throat.
